Go spend time in nature and give thanks to our great Mother Earth. During this time be quiet, walk slowly, and be present.

Spend time in nature daily. While nature is indeed everywhere, for this practice, we are specifically referring to environments such as forests, jungles, mountains, rivers, or even a small garden if that is all you have access to. Seek out places where you are surrounded by trees, plants, and animals.

Everything originates from nature, and more specifically, everything comes from the Earth. This Earth/Nature-centered consciousness is where the grandmother leads us back to. All that you are and all that you have come from the Earth and has been freely given to you. Nature hasn’t asked for anything in return. You were given your body, air to breathe, a mind to think, a heart to love, and feet to walk this beautiful Earth.

Take time each day to immerse yourself in nature and give thanks to our great Mother Earth. During this time, be quiet, walk slowly, and be present. Make a conscious effort to decrease your mental chatter by simply allowing it to be and gently moving away from it. Relax into the presence of Nature, letting its serenity envelop you.

Spend a moment staring at a tree, relaxing in front of it, and being with the forest. Observe the clouds passing, feel the wind blowing, bask in the sun shining, admire the stars glowing, and take in the smells of the flowers and forest around you. Listen to the birds chirping. All these elements maximize your presence and create a healing effect as dopamine, the feel-good hormone, is released in your body. Repeating this practice consistently helps shift your body and emotions towards a state of joy.

The next time you visit nature, be truly present with it. Embrace the beauty and tranquility that nature offers. Let it ground you, heal you, and fill you with a sense of gratitude and peace. This daily practice will not only enhance your well-being but also deepen your connection to the Earth and all its wonders.
