The food you consume will affect your body, mind and spirit. The human body works best when it recieves a daily supply of high-quality nutritents coming from multiple different sources. Think in terms of whole foods: vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, etc.
Our bodies are the result of millions of years of evolution, during which our ancestors were consuming plants and animals in a very natural and unprocessed state. No added oils, sugars, or otherwise unpronounceable ingredients. They knew exactly what they were eating.

There is an old saying amongst engineers:
What goes into a system equals what comes out of a system.
You wouldn’t pour mud into a high-performance engine and expect it to perform like it does on high-quality gasoline, right? Then why would you fill your body with unknown “foods” devoid of any nutrients and lifeforce and expect it to perform at peak efficiency?

In much the same way an engine works on a specific mixture of chemicals, so too does the human body and brain work on a specific mixture of nutrients, phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, and most of all: lifeforce.
You must ensure that you are filling your body with the highest quality food in the most natural, unprocessed form possible. Vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, meats, etc. This is how you think of food, not calories. Foods that are farmed in a sustainable way that doesn’t only mindlessly take from the Earth. Foods that are fresh and filled with vital life force.
If you eat meat, then the animals need to have been cared for and treated well while they were alive, otherwise the meat will act as poison to the body, mind and spirit. And pay attention to the results of each type of food you are eating. Everyone’s needs differ slightly. If you eat meat everyday and notice you always feel sluggish and foggy, then back off the meat for awhile and see what happens.
Like this, you open a dialogue with the body and ensure its nutritional requirements are met and its needs are provided. If your brain is not getting the nutrients it needs, it simply will not perform at its peak capacity.
If you struggle with weak digestion, simplifying your diet can be highly beneficial. Try to keep your meals straightforward and avoid combining too many ingredients at once. Eating simpler meals can ease the digestive process. Soups, in particular, can be very effective in aiding digestion and helping to restore its strength. By reducing the complexity of your food, you can achieve noticeable improvements in your digestive health.
